The Great Attractor is an original acrylic painting built around a suspended field of interlocking biomorphic forms. Three-dimensional shapes appear to float within sinuous structures and an underlying geometric framework, creating a composition that feels held in equilibrium while remaining in continuous motion.

Shifting illumination and an ambiguous sense of scale allow the imagery to move between microscopic, cellular forms and more expansive spatial relationships. Rooted in sacred geometry, biomorphic abstraction and visionary painting, the work explores attraction, equilibrium and the suggestion of hidden forces connecting the composition.

Artwork & Finish

Painted on canvas using acrylic paint, acrylic inks and airbrush techniques, with hand-painted details defining the layered biomorphic forms. Two brown oval elements incorporate sand and crushed shell, introducing subtle areas of raised texture within the predominantly smooth surface. A satin varnish protects the finished painting while maintaining the depth and intensity of the colour.
