Surya’s Gift captures the final moments of daylight from Downend Point, Croyde, on the North Devon coast. The setting sun remains hidden behind cloud, its presence revealed through shafts of light spreading across the sky and descending towards the sea.

Subtle changes of light and tone animate the cloud formations above, while the broad expanse of deep blue Atlantic below remains calm and restrained. The balance between radiant sky and darker water gives the image its quiet, expansive atmosphere.
