Mystic Matters 4 is an original acrylic painting built from a dense field of circles, bars, loops and modular forms that repeat and interconnect across the composition. Fragments of the central symbol appear throughout this surrounding geometry, gradually aligning before reaching their clearest expression at the centre.

As the final painting in the Mystic Matters series, the work represents the point at which complexity and clarity come fully together. Layers of dispersed, partially formed and resolved geometry create a progression towards the central symbol while remaining part of the same interconnected visual system.

Artwork & Finish

Painted on canvas using acrylic paint, acrylic inks and airbrush techniques, with hand-painted outlines and details bringing definition to the layered geometric and biomorphic forms. A satin varnish protects the finished surface while maintaining the saturation and clarity of the colour.
