Full Plane Fly is an original sculptural relief artwork expanding the visual language of the Fly series into a richly interconnected field of movement. Repeating biomorphic forms are linked by elongated tendrils that weave continuously through the composition, creating larger patterns of rhythm, movement and connection.

Inspired by flight without directly representing individual birds, the relief suggests invisible forces such as airflow, vibration and energy. Its brilliant white monochrome surface places emphasis on the sculptural forms themselves, with changing light and shadow continually altering their definition and the appearance of the wider composition.

Artwork & Finish

Hand-built in natural sand on canvas, the work uses subtle variations in depth to create its interconnected raised sculptural forms and flowing tendrils. A brilliant white gloss monochrome finish protects and visually unifies the surface, while changing light casts subtle shadows that reveal the contours and depth of the relief.
