Full Plane Fly (Small) is an original sculptural relief artwork presenting a more intimate expression of the visual language developed in Full Plane Fly. Repeating biomorphic forms and elongated tendrils weave across the composition, creating an interconnected field shaped by movement, rhythm and flow.

Its compact scale encourages closer viewing of the relationships between the individual forms, while the brilliant white monochrome surface places emphasis on the relief itself. As surrounding light changes, delicate shadows develop around the raised structures, subtly altering their definition and the sense of movement across the work.

Hand-built in natural sand on canvas, the work uses subtle variations in depth to create its flowing raised sculptural forms. A brilliant white gloss monochrome finish protects and visually unifies the surface, while changing light casts subtle shadows that reveal the contours and depth of the relief.
