A flowing network of motion where forms connect, interact and move as one.
Available Original
Fly Linked is an original sculptural relief artwork exploring rhythms of movement inspired by the collective behaviour of birds in flight. Flowing biomorphic forms are joined by elongated tendrils that weave through the composition, suggesting overlapping pathways, interaction and coordinated movement within a continuous sculptural field.
Rather than forming around a fixed centre, the composition remains open and fluid, allowing the eye to move freely through its interconnected structures. The brilliant white monochrome surface places emphasis on form, while changing light and shadow subtly alter the definition of the relief and reinforce its sense of movement and connection.
Artwork & Finish
Hand-built in natural sand on canvas, the work uses subtle variations in depth to create its flowing raised sculptural forms and connecting tendrils. A brilliant white gloss monochrome finish protects and visually unifies the surface, while changing light casts subtle shadows that reveal the contours and depth of the relief.
