Large colourful Jungle wall mural painted in acrylics in Blue Groove Restaurant, Croyde Bay, North Devon, UK, by British artist Conor Wilson.

“Blue Groove Restaurant in Croyde, North Devon, oozes unique personality and refuses to be put in a box. Take that classic beachy style and add a dose of sophistication …”

Mural Painting

In 2006 the new Blue Groove restaurant had an interior redesign. It was a much bigger restaurant than the first one, with a lot more wall space to mural. On the main wall opposite the bar, Conor painted a 30ft by 10ft psychedelic dreamscape mural inspired by tropical surf adventures. Through out the space he painted small jungle section’s spilling from the ceiling that mirrored the large main mural. He then hung his paintings from the walls, and a large print on canvas of the “Blue Lady” the much loved presence from the first restaurant.

In 2019 Blue Groove had another complete interior redesign, all these murals were replaced by new ones, and the interior architecture underwent a sophisticated refurbishment, click here to view the new 2019 murals.
